The second part of the program lasts about 12 weeks, one semester, during which participants will attend lessons at NABA Academy, choosing their favorite art courses, between Visual Arts (painting, sculpture, photography…), Fashion Design, Graphic Design and Art Direction.

The next session of “Italian Plus Art and Design Semester Courses” will start on 31st August 2009.

A Semester In Milan To Learn Italian, Art And Design

 

The Italian language School for foreigners Leonardo da Vinci suggests new and interesting ways to learn the language, by offering courses which fulfill all young foreign students’ needs.

One of these is “Italian Plus Art and Design Semester Courses”, the course focused on art, graphic design and fashion, organized by the school of Milan in collaboration with NABA – “Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano” (New Academy of Fine Arts Milan).

The course offers to all the students who decided to study art, the opportunity to attend the lessons at Accademia delle Belle Arti for a whole semester, with the chance to freely choose their kind of studies according to their own ambitions, among Visual Arts (painting, sculpture, photography..), ‘Fashion Design’, ‘Graphic Design & Art Direction’.

To attend the course “Italian Plus Art and Design Semester Courses” is necessary that students already have a good knowledge level of Italian language, so that the school suggests the guys to attend some intensive Italian courses which last 4 or more weeks, and during the semester they will have the chance to improve their knowledge attending one of the extensive courses in groups of the School Leonardo da Vinci.

The programme of the course Art and Design counts 144 lessons subdivided into 12 weeks. The lessons usually take place in the afternoon, to give the students who have to improve their Italian, the chance to attend in the meantime the courses of Italian language.

The next course of “Italian Plus Art and Design Semester Course” will start on April 20th.

Study a Semester in Italy: Italian Language + Art Courses

The Italian language school Leonardo da Vinci and the New Academy of Fine Arts and Design NABA, offer to foreign students the opportunity to study a semester in Italy, having a specialised course in the field of Art, Italian fashion, Italian design, graphic and media design.

You will attend a semester inside a recognized University of Arts, where you will learn theorical and practical aspects of the subject you will choose between:

- design (Art and Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Exhibition Design. Visual Culture and Design History, Technology, Materials and Tools, Theory and Method of Photography are just some of the numerous subjects covered by the design courses);

- fashion (Among the proposed subjects there are Fashion and Costume History, Fabric Design, Fashion Design and Planning, Fashion Accessories and Jewelry Design);

- art (visual arts, such as painting, drawing and photography);

- media and graphic design.

Before starting these courses, students have to attend a language course for a minimum duration of 4 weeks in order to reach the level requested to enter in the Art classes.

The Italian language school and the Academy of Fine Arts share the same campus in the Navigli zone, a meeting place for artists where many cafes and trendy bars are concentrated.

Milan is a cosmopolitan city, famous for being the Italian capital of fashion and design, the perfect place where to study Art and where to learn Italian.
