You filled out the form in the normal procedure (name, address, quantity, card number etc). by making a few rough guesses, but when you click on the ‘submit’ button you find that the form is being refreshed.  You would get irritated after trying a couple of times and this is what is the pain.  You need that hardware urgently and hence your repeated attempts.  If the knowledge in Chinese language and its translation was known to you, you would have realized that you are clicking on ‘form reset’ button instead of the ‘submit’ button.  Normally the ‘submit’ button is found on the left side and the ‘form reset’ button on the right.

It is due to the mistake committed by the person who designed the web site as he must have used the English language program to design the web page in the layout of the buttons.  He or she might be excused for those who know the Chinese language will know what the different buttons mean.  The bottom line is that you have missed out on a golden opportunity that could have changed the way you work.  You can blame nobody for the difficult in which you are in now.  With the knowledge of translation in Chinese language, you could have filled in the online form and get the hardware you badly needed for your business.  A very serious that has to be given to this and the time has come now.

Learning Chinese, especially as an adult, can be quite a difficult task. But do not feel bad, because learning the Chinese language is even hard for Chinese people themselves due to its complexities. Chinese has widely been known to be one of the most popular yet most difficult languages to learn. Some people say “it’s Chinese to me!”, which is pretty much proof in the pudding that learning Chinese is like rocket science to most. The key to learning the language is to have a mindset of understanding it will be hard, but knowing it will be fun trying your best to learn it.

Learning to speak Chinese is a task in and of itself, but learning to write in Chinese is a whole new ballgame altogether. While English only has combinations of our 26 basic letters, Chinese has up to 50,000 characters in their language. Which can be super difficult trying to memorize them all. Chinese doesn’t use a basic alphabet like most languages do. They rely on combination of characters that mean different things. there are no commonalities to English at all with Chinese writing and reading. It is even hard to read translations in translation manuals, if they are written in Chinese symbols. Perhaps the most difficult reasons to learn how to speak the Chinese language is that certain words spoken in different tones and dialect can have completely different meanings, which makes Chinese even more complex! In conclusion, I recommend getting a Chinese tutor via the internet, because it is the cheapest and most effective way to practice and learn the difficult, yet beautiful Chinese language and writing system.

How do Tone-Deaf people learn the Chinese language?

I know that Chinese (in all its dialects, whether Mandarin, Cantonese, etc.) is very difficult for native English-speakers to learn particularly because the tonal system makes a word have different meanings.

For instance, the word “tianming” means both “sunrise” and “Mandate of Heaven”, but it’s pronounced in different tones to differentiate the two meanings.

The Composite Models Of The Chinese Language And Difficulty In Understanding It

This is true that only 10,000 characters  are being used regularly out of 20,000 characters of Chinese language. To be able to fully understand the language, at least when it comes to reading of course, you need to learn Chinese characters. Out of many languages in this world, the most engrossing and complex language is Chinese. Excluding Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and  other parts of Malaysia, more than one billion people live in china. The Chinese language has become the most spoken language in those countries apart from china.  It is known for being indirect or to understate meanings. This indirectness is attributed to a cultural trait, older than the language itself.

The high degree of internal diversity brings attraction to the Chinese language and many are learning it with much interest. The ‘chinese radicals are the 214 elementary pictographs, combination of which form an infinite number of words leading to constant evolution of Chinese language. Alternatively, a new word can be formed by combining two or more radicals.

Out of oldest languages around 3000 years, Chinese is one among them in this world.  Chinese has developed tremendously over these long periods but the basic grammar, vocabulary and writing system have not much changed.

If gender is taken into consideration, it is neutral as compared to a Latin-based language like French and hence easy to learn.  Unlike English, where one might say, “I will eat,” “I ate,” or “I have eaten,” in Chinese one would say, “Wo chi” (which means “I eat” ) plus the time phrases, today, later, tomorrow, etc.  The Chinese language is written in characters, each of which consists of one, up to dozens of strokes, and a phrase or sentence can be made of several characters.  Due to shortness of characters as compared to English words, a translated Chinese version takes lesser spares always than English original.

Chinese can be though of as a tool, without which the Chinese could not do, even for a moment in their daily life and work.  If a person’s knowledge about the Chinese language is not up to a certain standard, if he or she cannot speak distinctly and fluently, or what he or she writes does not read smoothly, then the effect on that person as a Chinese is all-weather and all-directional, so the influence is obviously far greater than that of English.

People’s Republic of China, Taiwan and Hong Kong is served with Mandarin as the official language as it is spoken in excess of 50% of the huge Chinese population.  Mandarin also serves as the second official language of Singapore.
