Help keep Haiti’s plight in the forefront and donate, but don’t visit, stresses GHESKIO director
In the following open letter to the Cornell Community, Dr. Jean William “Bill” Pape, director of the GHESKIO Clinic in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, encourages members of the Cornell community to keep Haiti and its plight in the public consciousness and donate what they can, but to refrain from traveling there, despite excellent intentions.
