You have beautiful eyes, it’s hard to study and not fall in love. Thanks for the kindness of giving us free class. I´m going to Peru in a couple of months..I speak Portuguese (living in Brazil) but there are many diferences..I´m from New Zealand…I´m feeling like a goose with this ‘R’ thing…good for a laugh but I think it will frighten children. Yes beautiful deep caring eyes..thanks makes the lesson a pleasure!
¡Hola!
Thank you all for your interest and kind comments. I am very glad that you are all enjoying the lessons and remind you that I have also started posting interactive videos to practice what I have already taught in these Spanish video lessons.
These can be found here on YouTube and on my blog. The blog is the best place to view as I always post the written lessson notes there as well as the videos.
Saludos,
Laura
awesome.
this is great
also, i found – as a non-native speaker – that trying to put a d sound before the r will help it roll easier. por exemplo: I wear DReary DReadlocks while Driving DR DR DRRRR DRRRRRR lol
I suggest you to start imitating the sound of a helicopter: RRRRRRRR!!
During this act take note on the position of the tongue and how the sound is emitted.
Remember that in Spanish language we have two “different” sounds for the R: perro, rojo, and pero, Laura.
These two sounds are not so different. The second one is basically the same as the first one, but expressed quickly and shorter with just one roll of the r.
How do you do the “RR” sound… I can’t do it! any ideas?
thnx a lot

thanks very much for posting all of these videos. I’ve been trying to learn Spanish for a while now but have always struggled with listening/comprehending. Things like this help a lot.
Me gusta tu video! Very useful, thank you.
¡Gracias y de nada!
Great job.
