Learning German?
German and English, both being germanic languages contain words which are similar in both languages.
This makes them easy to understand but with some of them unfortunately the rule does not always apply and one can make some foolish mistakes if you use these words incorrectly.
The first step to learning German is to familiarize yourself self with the sounds of the language and to do this one should listen to people speaking it.
When listening to words and sounds of German speakers always repeat what you hear a number of times to get the correct pronunciation. You must remember that Germans speak differently to the way you speak and you are going to have to learn to make the correct sounds. Germans also tend to speak in a deep voice which they raise when they are learning a new language.
Keep this in mind and keep your voice low and deep when learning and speaking German.
