When you think of Italy, you’ll dream of sunny beaches, Mediterranean climate, the shadow of the pine trees and the smell of the straw flowers growing near the sea. When you think of Italy, you’ll imagine all those things that for centuries have attracted all sorts of visitors from all over the world.

When you think of Italy, you’ll immediately imagine all splendid Italian art works, as well as the Italian culture and the warmness of the Italian people. When you say Italy, you almost cover at once art, beauty, creativity and the highest quality of life.

All these images of Italy can of course also be enjoyed during the winter season. One of the great advantages of this season is the lack of mass tourism in all Italian cities. You don’t have to queue up for the famous museums and you can reveal the real beauty of all the churches, palazzos and piazza’s. But – most important – you can enjoy the real Italian culture.

During winter time, you can easily become part of the Italian community. You will not be a tourist, but you will become a real Italian citizen. You will mix up easily with local people and their traditions and customs.
